“Then Moses said to the Lord, ‘O my Lord, I am not eloquent…but I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.’ Allah (God) responded by saying to Moses; ‘Is not Aaron the Levite your brother? I know that he can speak well,,, So he shall be your spokesman to the people. And he himself shall be as a mouth for you, and you shall be to him as God.” Exodus 4:10-16 (NKJV).
Arguably, Moses was the greatest prophet in the Old Testament. He is mentioned more than any other prophet in both the Old Testament and in the entire Holy Qur‘an. Clearly, Allah (God) took a personal interest in Moses and gave him the awesome mission of liberating the Children of Israel from Pharaoh in Egypt. Allah ( God), however, did not tell him to physically fight Pharaoh with weapons. He told Moses to speak a firm word to him and for him to tell Pharaoh to let His people go.
One may ask the question, “Why write a book called, ‘Moses: A Sign of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad’?” Such a book had to be written because there is more to the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad than meets the eye. Nearly every Christian in the world is waiting on the return of Jesus the Messiah. Nearly every Muslim in the world is waiting on the coming of the Mahdi. Nearly every Jew in the world is waiting on the return of Elijah. What if a man or men have come into the world that fulfill aspects of the return of the Messiah, the coming of the Mahdi, and the return of Elijah, but the world has perceived him not?
